Deutsche Glasfaser

£100m–£500m

Jamieson has advised the management team of Deutsche Glasfaser on the sale of the business to KKR.

Jamieson assisted in structuring and negotiating the management incentive arrangements with a conventional European buyout structure that was a cognisant of Dutch and German specific structuring requirements.

Deutsche Glasfaser constructs and operates fibre-optic networks in Germany and provides German households and companies with fast broadband connections. In a joint effort with the previous owner, Dutch investment company Reggerborgh, KKR will provide long term capital to embark on an ambitious growth program where approximately EUR 450m will be invested in the further roll-out of the German fibre optics infrastructure over the next few years.

The Jamieson team was led by Stuart Coventry and Johan Aksel Bergendorff.  This deal adds to Jamieson’s ever growing European track record in Holland and Germany.
