Jamieson is pleased to announce it has advised the management team of Opus 2, the leading provider of integrated software and services for the global legal disputes market, on it acquisition by Astorg.  The investment will be the first investment made by Astorg’s newly launched Mid-Cap Fund and will see the Management Team, Five Arrows Principal Investments and the founder, Graham Smith-Bernal reinvest alongside Astorg.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in London, Opus 2’s cloud-based collaboration software is designed for case preparation and multi-party hearings enabling all stakeholders to work on a single platform. Opus 2 provides associated technology-enabled services including court reporting and real-time transcription, as well as virtual hearing services. The business has a blue-chip, global client base, including all of the top 50 UK law firms and 88% of the AmLaw 50 firms in the US.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Andrew, David and the Jamieson team again on another transaction.  As ever they have provided a first-class service and enabled the deal to be structured in a very tight timescale”

Oliver Clark, CFO
