Eurofiber, the owner of the second largest independent fiber network in the Netherlands, has been acquired by Doughty Hanson & Co from Reggeborgh, an investment vehicle of the Wessels family. Reggeborgh will continue to hold a minority stake in the Company.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Maarssen in the Netherlands, more than 25% of Dutch internet traffic and 50% of Dutch mobile traffic, waterways and electricity management information is transported over Eurofiber’s network.

Eurofiber’s management, led by Alex Goldblum, Bart Oskam and Jaap Truijens, will remain with the business and will invest in to the new structure as part of the transaction.
