Jamieson, a leading independent management advisory firm headquartered in London with offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Melbourne, and New York, has announced the appointment of Mark Wasserberger as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Jamieson Corporate Finance US LLC, its United States subsidiary. Prior to joining Jamieson, Mark worked at EY where he oversaw the company’s US private equity origination practice.
Prior to EY, Mark spent over 20 years as an investment banker. He has represented a significant number of companies in a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, sales, divestitures, restructurings, and financings.
He joins Michael Sirkin, US Chairman & Managing Director, in leading Jamieson’s rapidly expanding practice in North America.
Jamieson, founded in 2005 by Ian Jamieson, a former Chief Executive Officer at Deloitte Corporate Finance, opened the New York office in 2014. To-date, the company has been involved in more than 500 deals worldwide with a total value in excess of $350bn. In addition to advising management teams in private equity transactions, Jamieson provides other advisory services to executives, family offices, companies, and boards in assisting the determination of the equitable share of equity growth between management and investors.
