UBM Data Services

£100m–£500m

Jamieson advises management on the buyout of UBM Data Services by Electra Partners.

Following a strategic review, UBM PLC announced its intention to sell a portfolio of UBM’s Data Services businesses (“Delta”) for consideration of £160m including a £40m vendor loan note.  Jamieson advised the Delta management team on the terms of their deal.

Delta represents the bulk of UBM’s Data Services segment and includes its Health, Technology and IP, Trade & Transport, and Paper business units.   The deal was a complex one involving group and divisional management incentive schemes.

Stuart Coventry and John Greenland led the deal from Jamieson.  Jamieson worked with the group management to negotiate, implement and communicate the incentive terms across the Delta segments.
