OFT considers Co-op / Somerfield merger

Somerfield deal gets green light.

Jamieson Corporate Finance has advised the incumbent management team of Somerfield Ltd on their acquisition by Co-operative Group Ltd (the Co-op). The acquisition is conditional on the sale of around 126 stores by the Co-op to the satisfaction of the Office of Fair Trading.
